Centering Prayer is a method of prayer,
traditionally called Contemplative Prayer,
that prepares us to receive the gift of God's presence.
It consists of responding to the Spirit of Christ by consenting to God's
presence and action within.
These groups are open to new members. We recommend calling the contact person
before you come. The groups are small and tend to change meeting times or place due to weather
or other schedule conflict. If you are new to Centering Prayer, tell the contact person and we can give
you a short orientation before the group begins.
